Excavation for any line of work

Excavators are hydraulic in nature. They come under the Earthmoving Equipment or Heavy Equipment or Construction Equipment category. It consists of a boom, a dipper (or stick), a bucket and a cab on a rotating platform known as “house”. The house is placed over the top of an undercarriage which has tracks and wheels. Though they are often mistaken as power shovels, they move and function only through the use of hydraulic fluid, with hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors.
